This notice explains how Pawfully Good Walks collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data when you use our website, create an account, or make a booking.
1. Who we are
The data controller is Luce Bay Land & Digital Ltd, trading as Pawfully Good Walks.

We collect the following personal data when you use our website:
- Account and identity data: your name, email address, and login credentials.
- Contact and address data: your phone number and home address, provided during account setup.
- Pet data: your dogs’ names, breeds, dates of birth, sex, and any behavioural notes you provide. You may also upload a photo of your dog.
- Vehicle data: your vehicle registration, make, model, and colour, used to manage site access.
- Emergency contact data: the name and phone number of an emergency contact you provide. Please let your emergency contact know that you have shared their details with us and that they are held in accordance with this notice.
- Booking and payment data: records of your bookings, session dates and times, and payment transactions. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We do not store card details on our servers.
- Communication preferences: your preferences for receiving booking reminders and account notifications by email or SMS.
- Support enquiry data: if you contact us through our support form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message, whether or not you have an account with us.
3. Why we use your data and our legal basis
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- Creating and managing your account – necessary to perform the contract with you.
- Processing bookings and payments – necessary to perform the contract with you.
- Sending booking confirmations, receipts, and account statements – necessary to perform the contract with you.
- Sending booking reminders and post-visit messages – our legitimate interest in keeping you informed about your bookings.
- Managing site access using vehicle details – our legitimate interest in site safety and access management.
- Holding emergency contact information – our legitimate interest in the safety of visitors on site.
- Responding to support enquiries – our legitimate interest in providing customer support.
- Maintaining an audit log of account and administrative activity – our legitimate interest in security and fraud prevention.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes. We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf under written agreement:
- Stripe for secure payment processing.
- Brevo for transactional email and SMS delivery.
- Microsoft Azure for encrypted backup storage and disaster recovery, where enabled.
- Website hosting and WordPress infrastructure providers needed to operate the website and booking system.
5. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to manage your login session and to enable secure payment processing through Stripe. These cookies are required for the website to function and cannot be turned off.
We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. You can manage cookie settings through your browser, but disabling session cookies will prevent you from logging in to your account.
6. How long we keep your data
- Booking and payment records: 7 years from the booking date, as required for tax and accounting purposes.
- Account profile: for the duration of your account, plus 30 days after closure before anonymisation.
- Support enquiries: 2 years from the date the enquiry was closed.
- Audit log: 2 years from the date of each event.
- Notification records: 6 months from the date of issue.
After these periods, personal data is deleted or anonymised where it is no longer needed for legal, accounting, safety, or dispute-resolution purposes.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification of any inaccurate data we hold.
- Erasure of your personal data in certain circumstances.
- Restriction of how we use your data while a dispute is being resolved.
- Portability of your data in a machine-readable format where this applies.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent at any time where consent is our lawful basis.
